Skin Specialist

& Facialist

Barbara Russell

Barbara is a skilled, experienced and knowledgeable facialist with the ultimate goal of helping clients with challenging skin concerns.

Hormonal, teenage and adult acne, rosacea and pigmentation are Barbaras areas of expertise.

"Having personally experienced the challenges of both teen and adult acne, I can truly understand and empathise your journey towards recovery," says Barbara.

Currently the most popular treatments are for clients navigating the mysteries of the menopause. The onset of menopause brings about significant changes in the body, including lower levels of oestrogen which greatly influence the skin. As a result the skin slackens, becoming thinner, forming wrinkles.

"There is good news, by tending to your uniques skin care requirements, you can alleviate some of the ageing-related effects on the skin," says Barbara.

Nutritionist Medicine

Karen Devine

"A journey that began almost 30 years ago has taken me down a road of discovery of the natural healing world. Having 2 daughters who both experienced allergies, eczema and asthma. It was fast became a cycle of colds – chest infections – antibiotics when I felt my natural instincts kick in and asked myself was this a journey I wanted for my girls?

Absolutely not, so I started out with a homeopath for their health issues and suddenly found myself immersed in the practice of Homeopathy and off down the health and wellbeing rabbit hole I went. I read book upon book (no internet for me back then), on homeopathy, Naturopathy, Nutrition, early Naturopathic teachings and more.

Their diet was immediately changed, no dairy, sugar etc and the change was dramatic. Any colds/coughs/tummy issues I would see my homeopath who I owe so much gratitude to. He emigrated to Canada 25 years ago, his parting gift to me was his champion juicer which I still use today, juicing led me to read more and finally I decided to study. My early nutritional studies were also steeped in Naturopathy and the philosophy of detoxification and elimination. I have spent thousands of hours in further courses, lectures, books, workshops and online deepening my knowledge, I still feel I have so much to learn."
